"Xperience" the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum, one of St. Augustine's most authentic historic sites. The centerpiece of the city's Old Town section just South of the Plaza, this National Historic Landmark property features a 1798 dwelling, one of the city's original colonial buildings and the region's only 18th century freestanding kitchen. Educational exhibits, a video and computer touch screen interactive program are especially interesting to children. In addition, the property has hosted a dozen archaeological investigations over the past 40 years, resulting in more than 250,000 artifacts reprenting five centuries of European habitation. A sampling of these items is found in the exhibition room of the Visitor Center.
